A sign commonly seen in
libraries, featuring various
insects and
rodents crawling in, around, and
through what appear to be
precious texts. The
moral is as follows: if you eat in the library, your
residue will attract various lower orders, which will in turn feast on the brittle pages of
Webster 1913 and its kin. So in effect, your inability to save the
Cheetos for later leads to ancient knowledge lost forever.
It's in the same guilt-inducing vein as the glares the librarians beam at you if you happen to put your feet up on a desk. The sign seems to nag, "You know, we don't have to let you read the Swimsuit Edition for free."
