| Simpson's reference towards Soylent Green. Flanders said it in the episode where Marge and Homer lose the sexual spark in their marriage. They find that they can only enjoy each other when there's a danger of them getting caught, so they went back to the mini-golf course where Bart was conceived in the windmill. When they run off, they leave their clothes behind and Flanders says "'Twas people! People soiled our green!"
On a side note, I personally believe that the Soylent Green system should be instated when the world is overcrowded. The world has a habit of biting me in the ass, so I think of suicide as a way out... but then, people would end up biting me in the ass. Quaint. |
