In Canada and perhaps elsewhere, a codeword at what was the Red Cross and is now Canadian Blood Services meaning that someone is faint. It calls the nurses and volunteers to action - namely getting cold cloths and making the person lie down, and stopping the blood donation if one is in progress - without completely freaking out the poor light-headed person.
