A sort of letter of intent for Charles to Convert to Catholicism, Louis agrees to provide him with troops to quell the inevitable unrest when he actually does the deed.  Charles agrees to support Louis' planned war against The Netherlands.

• William Penn the Younger is acquitted of charges of sedition (defending Quakerism) and freed from the Tower of London.  Charles doesn't like this and fines the jury. When one of the jurors, Edward Bushell, refuses to pay the fine, he is imprisoned, but the Lord Chief Justice rules that juries cannot be punished for their verdicts.
