Conn Smythe Trolphy Winner: Scott Stevens, Captain, Devils, the Sixth Defenseman ever to win the Conn Smythe. (ironic because another defenseman to win the Conn Smythe Trolphy was his coach, Larry Robinson.)

The presentation of the Stanley Cup made in the home of the Loser, at Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas to the Chant of "JERSEY SUCKS, JERSEY SUCKS!"

Concidently, Barry Melrose predicted the NJ Devils to win at the beginning of the season.

Concidently, this is also the third time a team has won the Stanley cup when there was a coaching change in mid-season.
