A spinoff of the sitcom The Cosby Show portraying life at Hillman, a predominantly black university. Starred Lisa Bonet as Denise, her character on The Cosby Show and Kadeem Harrison as Dwayne Wayne. The show allowed budding young black actors a chance to get on TV, such as Tisha Campbell and Jada Pinkett. The show tackled such issues as equal rights, homelessness, hostile corporations, pre-marital sex, and other issues of young black adults of the day. Bill Cosby was a creative consultant for the show.
