A book and a jug and a dame

A book and a jug and a dame,
And a nice cozy nook for the same;
"And I don't care a damn,"
Said Omar Khayyam,
"What you say, it's a great little game."

As for the accuracy of this limerick, we are directed to XI: 41-44 of Edward Fitzgerald's translation of the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám:

Here with a Loaf of Bread beneath the Bough,
A Flask of Wine, a Book of Verse--and Thou
Beside me singing in the Wilderness--
And Wilderness is Paradise enow.
