icq authorization requests from nice people you don't know are fun:

To wit: authorization request from 休柴休米但三餐無休

...the conversation (yes is me)
  • yes: Hi, why should I authorize you and exactly how '1337' are you?
  • yes: ..hehe..sorry. Thought you were being leet. your nick comes out as all ANSI characters. Do i know you?1
  • yes: oh, ok then. that explains it all.
  • yes: so, how's things?
  • yes: That good eh? Why so glum?
  • yes: so what's up in Hong Kong?
Tai Po
  • yes: err, I'm a bit rusty. Is that a place or activity?

And that's all we've shared so far. But we'll always have the word '我唔明', which I like to think is a shorthand elegance in another language for 'I am existing, life flows around me. We are the river'.

1 ASCII/ANSI , they're all characters to me. If you explain it to me, the magic will be destroyed. It was about that line that I saw the .hk domain and presumed that I wasn't just viewing the world's most madskilledly obscure leet nickname. Ok..now I know it was ASCII, boy...do I feel _something_
