A city in the north-western part of The Netherlands. It has almost 100,000 inhabitants. Well known by foreigners for its cheese market. The city has its own yearly day of celebration, on the 8th of October. It then celebrates its liberation from the Spanish oppressors in the 16th century (during the 80 years war)
