Italian politician. Born 1839, died 1908.

Antonio di Rudini became mayor of Palermo in 1864, and later prefect at Napoli/Naples, in 1868. From 1870 until his death, he was a member of the Italian parliament, founding a new right-wing party and serving as prime minister and foreign minister in 1891 and again from 1896 to 1898. During his tenure in office, he managed to arrange a peace treaty with Abyssinia, but his foreign policy successes could not outweigh the internal political unrest that plagued Italy, and which eventually forced him to step down.
