Strike not by land, keep whole, provoke not battle
Till we have done at sea. Do not exceed
The prescript of this scroll. Our fortune lies
Upon this jump.

Summary:
Caesar gives his orders to his lietenant for the upcoming battle. This and the next scene serve simply to give an impression of haste and exitement in the leadup to battle.


I transcribed this by hand from the 1998 edition of the New Swan Shakespeare, which is published by the Longman Group and edited by John Ingledew. Hence, any errors are my own. Also mine is the summary.
