Roman plebeian tribune for the year 55 BCE.

Ateius participated in the political struggle between the optimates and populares in the years preceding Julius Caesar's assassination in 44 BCE. Initially an opponent of Pompey and Crassus, he later supported both Caesar and Cicero.
