From Van Halen's 1984 music video for "Hot for Teacher." The video opens with an anxious-looking mother smoothing her nerdy-looking son's slicked-down hair before he gets on the school bus, and admonishing, "Now, Waldo, I hope you find some friends this year."
Waldo responds, "Aw, Mom, ya know I'm not like other guys. I'm nervous and my socks are too loose," before the bus door closes and he's whisked off to a school populated by kids dressed like members of Van Halen and teachers who whip off their dresses at any opportunity. |
