Beach comber. [Written also beach-comber.] (Naut.) A vagrant seaman, usually of low character, who loiters about seaports, particularly on the shores and islands of the Pacific Ocean. I was fortunate enough, however, to forgather with a Scotchman who was a beach-comber.
