A concoction of heroin, cocaine and alcohol, originally created by esteemed English doctors. It was given to terminally ill cancer patients, thus relieving the patients and their friends and families of the pain of a slow, pathetic, whimpering death. While it is not normally a method of suicide, it is more than simply a painkiller; it was reported to bring about a spiritual peace or even an orgasmic rush as death approached.

Brompton's cocktail sometimes contained other ingredients, such as morphine or MDMA. It is almost never administered anymore, as current thinking encourages use of a single analgesic such as morphine, codeine, or oxycodone.
