The Cafe Comptoir Chez Mimi is based in Lyon (France).
It is a small cafe where all the decoration consists of Year 50's advertising plates.
This place is like a time machine : once in there you forget you reached Y2K... Until your neighbour's cellular phone remind you of the rude present.
Chez Mimi is based in the medioeval part of Lyon : Saint Jean. It is quite a wonderful experience to just wander through the paved streets before landing there. This place has to be visited, especially if you enjoy one of the many trappist beers they serve.
