Character in Jim Toomey's cartoon strip Sherman's Lagoon. Captain Quigley is Sherman the shark's arch nemesis, seeking revenge after Sherman ate his legs many years ago. (Did anyone say Moby Dick?). Quigley uses a wooden leg (replacing the lost one, obviously) and seems to have only one eye (or is he always closing one?).
