Nearly everyone in the
US and
UK (and anywhere else I would imagine) can recognize the signature chemical beat. Prevolent especially in the
Chemical Brothers' later works, it refers to a
snare-based
sway within a beat (as well as heavy use of hats.) Now everyone can rip their
signature style, as the beat has been decyphered:
1 = light hit
2 = med hit
3 = heavy hit

Add some Bassdrums, lots of open/closed hats and flams on the snares and you have what could easily pass for a chemical brothers' beat.
