Christians Awake believe that the Freemasons have run this country from the very beginning, which is certainly not an uncommon belief in the world of conspiracy theories. However, Christians Awake believe that they are such a secret society because they are Gay and do not want anyone to know. George Washington, an early Freemason leader, was gay according to Christians Awake, which is why the Washington Monument is of a phallic shape. After 200 years of the Freemasons controlling the government and spreading their gayness around, God grew angry and created AIDS to punish them.
