A work of Economics written by Thomas Sowell. Originally published in 1974 by the Princeton University Press, it was re-released in 1994 with a new preface by the author.

As the title suggests this work is a re-examination of classical economics. In the book, Dr. Sowell reevaluates several ideas from the formative years of economics. It covers a wide range of topics from microeconomics, macroeconomics, social philosophy, and economic methods.

In the book are some of the essential theories of economists such as John Stewart Mill, David Ricardo, and Adam Smith.
