Codemasters is a
UK based developer and publisher of
video games. It's
headquarters are located on a 140
acre site in a beautiful
rural location near
Leamington Spa.
Codemasters was established in
1986 by two
brothers,
David and
Richard Darling, and has grown steadily to become one of
Europe's leading
games companies. During the
8-bit era, it produced countless classics such as the
Dizzy series and
BMX simulator. More recently, they've had
console and
PC success with titles including
Micro Machines,
Collin McRae Rally,
TOCA, and
Micro Maniacs.
Codemasters is continuing to expand. It
currently employs over 380 personnel, and although still primarily based in the
UK, now has offices in the
USA,
France,
Germany,
Spain and
Holland.
