The process by which something gets commercialized involves stripping it of artistic merit, originality, individuality and making sure it's devoid of genuine emotion, offensive language, sex and controversial statements, not to offend any potential consumer. Then it is packaged in a plastic wrapper and sold at the supermarket at a profit for the manufacturer, the middleman and the retailer.
Commercialization is the symptom. Greed is the cause. |
