| A class of starship in Star Trek. The first Enterprise was one of this class. First seen in The Original Series, and continuing through the first movies.
These were very advanced for their time; they were the workhorses of the TOS era Fedaration. Includes phasers and photon torpedo launchers. All ships of this class have (as of the TNG era) been decomissioned. |
