Acne medication containing cyproterone acetate and ethinyl estradiol. Approved in Canada only to treat severe acne, but widely prescribed (thanks to a massive marketing blitz) as a birth control pill. Several deaths have been atributed to blood clots caused by this medication in Europe and Canada; it is not approved for sale in the US.
