Used chiefly as a demographic/marketing term, this phrase identifies the "dinky" as a target for consumer marketing strategies aimed at individuals with ready liquidity and few firm demands upon their time (outside of work commitments). This makes them demographically interesting as targets for expensive consumer goods and upscale fashion items. |
