Working as an electronic biller is not a fun job, your position amounts to that of a peon. You are required by your job to work with software that crashes, deal with Medicare, Medicaid, and a host of commercial insurance companies. You are required to prepare a bill from incomplete and sometimes wildly inaccurate information to be sent by modem long distance, all the while hoping that it will arrive at the proper destination. Occasionally you just have to ask yourself "How did the bill I know I sent to Medicare get forwarded to Trigon only to be returned to me by mail from a company in Georgia?" |
