This is the song that prompted Living Colour not to reprint their lyrics on the following album, Stain. It seems, according to drummer Will Calhoun, that the band received too much negative attention from Elvis fans for this song. Wanting to be judged on their music more than their lyrics, they decided to curtail the reprinting of lyrics on their albums.

Also of special interest on this song: the Frank Zappa sample during the drum break section, saying "Elvis has (the word "just" was edited out) left the building." This is, I believe, a sample from his song, Elvis Has Just Left the Building, on the album Broadway the Hard Way. The ripping saxophone solo was supplied by none other than JB Horns member, and all around great musician, Maceo Parker ("Take me to the bridge!")
