The back is one of the more important muscles of your body to develop. It is the muscle that is the foundation of your upper body.

The back consists of three major muscles: the latissimus dorsi, the trapezius, and the lower back.

Here is a list of exercises you can do for your back.

1. Bent over row.
2. Seated row.
4. Pull-up (mid to wide grip, palms facing in or out)
5. Shoulder shrug (with dumbbells or a barbell)
6. Deadlift (not for beginners)
7. T-bar row
8. Back Hyper-extension
9. Lat pull-down (this exercise is not for the shoulders as so many people mistakenly believe)
