Football World Cup Finals

Summary of the champions' presences:

	Country | Participations | Finals| Triumphs

        Germany: 15 07 03
        Italy: 14 05 03
        Argentine: 12 04 02
        Uruguay: 10 02 02
        England: 08 01 01
        France: 08 01 01

One can see an evident equilibrium of forces between Europe and South-America, with eight triumphs to Europe and nine to South-America. While there were six final matches between two European countries ('34, '38, '54, '66, '74, '82), only two were disputed by South-Americans alone ('30, '50). However, because of the equal share in the sum of cups won, this also means that, when they both got to the final match, ('62, '70, '78, '86, '90, '94, '98, '02), the South-Americans were hardly ever beaten ('90, '98) by Europeans.
