A company specializing in adaptive technology for people with disabilities. Freedom Scientific is a result of the merger of Henter-joice, Blazie Engineering, and Arkenstone. Their products include Jaws for Windows, one of the leading screen reader programs on the market, the Braille 'N Speak, a note taker, and An Open Book a reading package that uses OCR to read printed pages to the blind.
