Gaelic Irish

I've seen this term used here on E2 to refer to the Irish Language, but it doesn't really mean anything. Irish is always Gaelic, although Gaelic is not always Irish. So, you could say Irish Gaelic, but really the most current term is simply "Irish". In my view, calling the language anything else (other than Gaeilge) would be similar to calling English "English Indo-European".
