Government Blvd. starts in downtown Mobile as a fairly slow-paced four-lane street. Antebellum oaks create a roof, touching and at times intertwining in the middle, in the summer it is almost like a tunnel with little breaks at the intersections. As one travels west, it turns into the equally slow but far less beautiful Highway 90
