President and founder of the American Taekwondo Association; 9th degree black belt. Born in Manchuria, China on July 20, 1937. Invented the Songahm style of Taekwondo. Died of cancer in October 2000.

Grand Master Lee seemed like a good joe. His philosophy seemed to be "always put students first." Would that all teachers would do this.
