The idea that everyone moves a bit slower in Hawaii.
The people of Hawaii tend to be fairly laid back and in no hurry. This is especially true on the outer islands.
Please note that this in no way carrys over to tourists, who are usualy moving 4 times faster than they normaly do. Don't ask me why.
