Recently played the role of Brandon Teena in the independent movie Boys Don't Cry, where she had an incredible performance. She's since won the Golden Globe for Best Actress, was nominated for that award in the Screen Actor's Guild Awards, and won the award at the Chicao Film Critics Awards. She's also nominated for the Academy Award for best actress, and most people are expecting her to win it.
It is reported that it took her 8 weeks after filming the movie to get out of the role of Brandon and find her feminine side again. |
