I love pushing buttons.
Meeting someone new, talking to them.
I love the verbal thrust, parrying, probing for
their weak spot and then ever so gently, prodding it.
Ouch.
The knee-jerk reactions, their defensiveness.
Not in a cruel way, just learning about them, and
how they work. A way of analyzing their sense of
humor, inspecting their thought patterns.
Teasing, flirting, playing.
