Born May 2, 1982 in Canoga Park, CA, gymnast Jamie Dantzscher has been on the U.S. National Team for eight years. The third eldest of seven children, she began gymnastics in 1989 and commuted 90 minutes each way to get to the gym for training. She graduated from San Dimas High School in spring of 2000, participated in the Olympics, and the following fall entered UCLA. Dantzscher enjoys writing poetry, playing cards and hacky sack, and collects keychains.
