Real name: Norma McCorvey. The "Roe" of Roe v Wade. A recovering alcoholic, occultist, and drug dealer. She would argue, now, that she was just a pawn in that 70s landmark. She never had an abortion; due to the snail's pace of the case, she had to carry the baby to term, later giving it up for adoption. Years later, she met/befriended Flip Benham of Operation Rescue, who trotted her out, for a while, as a spokesmodel for the group, a Prize Catch. Now a practicing Catholic.
