| Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 is the sequel to Dark Forces. It is a first-person shooter game based on the Star Wars universe, created by George Lucas (the universe, not the game). The game was produced by Lucasarts, a company founded by aforementioned George Lucas. The story is about a group of Dark Jedi killing your father's mentor Rahn to learn the location of the sacred Valley of the Jedi, where great power lies. You must stop them at all costs, if only to use the power yourself... Jedi Knight is a solid game with light puzzles and plot twists throughout the game. It must be said though that the game relies heavily on action, though that is in no way detrimental. There are a range of weapons at your disposal, ranging from a blaster rifle to your very own lightsaber. At a certain point in the game you must make a choice between joining the Light or the Dark Side. You can then use either the healing powers of the Light Side or the destructive powers of the Dark Side. Depending on your decision a cutscene in the game will change accordingly. |
