So, recently I finished school for the summer, which gives me an awful lot of time to fill up. Yes, there's the garden, and I'm desperate to set my mind to Objective C, but sadly so far all I've managed to do is lounge about in the summer house and finish Reading Ramsey Campbell's novel, Ancient Images, in eager anticipation of a copy of Lullaby, by dear old Chuck Palahniuk. Yes, the one who wrote Fight Club, way back when.
So, how am I spending this afternoon? I'm slowly and painstakingly typing out my first ever node from an iPhone. It's not as difficult as you might imagine, although I'm only using one finger, and lots of the symbols necessary for HTML markup and even linking take a wearying number of taps. That said, I'd still happily bend over forwards for Steve Jobs to own one of these lovely devices. Takes me back to the days of everything2 WAP access.
Enough... I can't bear to type the paragraph tags one more time... It may beat my old P990i over the head with a stick, but there are limits to even an Apple fanboy's endurance...
