There are many forms of this, of which knees up mother brown is perhaps the most well known. However there is no known record of it having existed before the war (WWII), which means that if you get a high concentration of Cockneys in one place, (i.e. a bomb shelter) then you will get spontaneous composition of cheeky folk music. |
