First studio album released by Boston based musician James O'Brien, came out in the summer of 2000. The rich and haunting Life Underwater is the result of James' collaboration with Digital Bear Entertainment, and it features a full band, including Dylan Callahan (formerly of Jabbering Trout and Jim's Big Ego - a different Jim, however), balladeer and bluesman Kevin So, and Boston Music Awards nominee Rob Laurens. It's a little rough at times (think early Dan Bern), but it still manages to find a place in my CD player most days.
