Flailing wildly, searching for something to grip
Belly full of unbearably hot ideas and plans
Pulling me away
From a place that was safe and unhappy.
I have none of that here, up in the air
And heading down.
Speeding out of control now.
Screaming in futile resistance.
I am drawn into the abyss,
Shaking and jumping from one trajectory to the next,
And I find myself utterly unable to control my descent.
I can't ever make it back to where I was.
