Los Angeles's NHL franchise. Joined the league in the 1967-68 season. Had their (recent) glory years with Wayne Gretzky. Went to the Stanley Cup finals in 1993 against the Montreal Canadiens. Used to play at the Great Western aka Fabulous Forum, but moved to the Staples Center. Ugh.
Famous players: Rogie Vachon, Butch Goring and Marcel Dionne, plus that Wayne guy. Recently Luc Robataille and Zigmund Palffy.
Team colors: Silver, black and white. In the true glory days, gold and royal purple.
