The term that players of Werewolf: The Apocalypse tend to use when referring to the popular fast-food restaurant McDonald's. "Wyrmtaint" is a term from Werewolf the decay, corruption and sickness engendered by the Wyrm, which in the Garou mythology is the embodiment of the destructive aspect of the forces of the universe. The Wyrm was originally created to keep the creations of the Weaver and the Wyld held in check, but after it was caught in the Weaver's Pattern Web the Wyrm went mad, and has since become a corruptor as well as a destroyer. The "food" served by McDonald's is often seen as embodying the corruptive, poisonous aspects of the Wyrm; hence it is "McWyrmtaint".
