| Dr. Michael Shermer is the publisher of Skeptic magazine and the director of the Skeptics Society. He has authored several excellent books on pseudoscience, historical revisionism and skepticism. His most popular book is the pithily titled Why People Believe Weird Things. His other books include Denying History, How We Believe and The Borderlands of Science. He also now has a column in Scientific American magazine.
Dr. Shermer received his B.A. in psychology from Pepperdine University, M.A. in experimental psychology from California State Univesity, Fullerton, and his Ph.D. in the history of science from Claremont Graduate School. |
