In high school, when everybody else was out drinking and partying and studying and what have you, I went right home every day and read some Mystery Science Theatre 6.7. It's teriffic stuff: really classy MiSTing of really revolting (for example, the works of Oscar and Doctor Thinker) subject matter, typically Sailor Moon or Ranma 1/2 fanfiction.
A few words about the name "Mystery Science Theater 6.7": It is a play on Mystery Science Theater 3000, the TV show that makes fun of bad movies. The "6.7" comes from the same source as the author's handle, Megane 6.7. Megane is the Japanese word for eyeglasses, and 6.7 is a reference to the villain Sid 6.7 from the movie Virtuosity. |
