A line from the Indigo Girls song "Mystery" from Swamp Ophelia. One of the most romantic notions I've ever heard of, and my theme song of awe for and consternation with this man and the distance he can keep, the things I can't say, and the questions I do not ask, taking the obvious answers I should know by now from unsolicited actions instead of forced words. I never really believed those answers; there was always some other evidence for more.
