Panthro is the oldest of the original Thundercats - the Nobles who escaped the cataclysmic destruction of Thundera. Although he uses nunchucks in melee combat, he is a mechanical genius, able to create nearly any device (including the amazing Thundertank and the even more incredible Cat's Lair), and he is also incredibly strong - strength that is rivaled only by that of Lion-O, the youthful, yet powerful, leader of the Thundercats.
