Pink Lady

• 1 1/2 oz (45ml) Gin
• 1 tsp (5ml) Grenadine
• 1 tsp (5ml) Light creme
• 1 Egg white

The Gin + egg white + light creme is a fairly common base for mixed drinks with gin. The Pink Lady is a modification of the 'White Lady' (below). The combination of the creme and egg white give it a very frothy texture.

• The White Lady is made of 2 oz of gin, and a teaspoon of sugar instead of Grenadine. (Note: For such a 'well known' drink, every bar has a slight twist on it)
• Replace the light creme with a bit more gin (2 oz total), the Froth Blower Cocktail is formed.
• Switch the Grenadine with Anis and you have a Cafe De Paris Cocktail
• The Clover Club Cocktail has 2 teaspoons of grenadine, and replaces the light creme with the juice from half a lemon.
• The Fairy Belle Cocktail replaces the light creme with 3/4 of an ounce of Apricot brandy (The 'Fat Face' is the same, with only 1/2 of an ounce of Apricot brandy - and is served in a whiskey sour glass)
